Your sister would write messages like: "Mom, cheerleading tonight. Be home at 9." Well, that is pretty much a bulletin board. Now a bulletin board system, or BBS, is an electronic chalkboard that allows people to communicate conveniently and easily. However, whereas e-mail is private and meant only for the intended recipient, bulletin board systems are public. Keep this in mind. What can I talk about? Bulletin board systems are usually topic-driven, as is the one on travelwriters.com. Discussion topics are open as long as they relate to travel writing and publishing. Is this anonymous?
