Experience & Expertise
<p>I have been a working freelance journalist since 1988. In addition to writing a weekly newspaper column for The South Whidbey Record, I have written arts and entertainment stories, travel features, sports, personality profiles, business features and edited the award winning Holiday Gift Guide for the twice-weekly newspaper. I have also been published in Washington Law & Politics, Seattle University's SUN Magazine and Washington Athletic Club's monthly magazine.<p>As a traveler for the past 30 years, I have lived in Europe and experienced everything from hanging out with a rock group in Switzerland to spending three days on a private island...accessible only by hiking in at low tide.<p>I'm an alumnus of Seattle University and live on an island in Puget Sound where we tend to our chickens, turkeys, garden and very own "field of dreams."<p>When not meeting deadlines, I enjoy travel, theater, baseball, jazz, fine food and friends. And tiptoeing through the tulips.
