Introduction
Linda Batey is a unique and creative voice in all projects she takes on. Her first words upon receiving a pencil and paper when she was three was "how do I get published?" She hadn't even written a word, but knew that once she wrote, it was going to be BIG! Linda is married to her soulmate and photographer, Jim, and they have four grown children and five granddaughters. The Bateys love to travel, love to travel and love to travel. Linda escapes the cold Maine winters as often as she can for trips to Miami to visit a daughter and granddaughter there. Linda is working towards a life of freelance travel writing and would love to hear advice, comments, critiques and ideas from experienced travel writers.
